Colour, openness and a clear form of calm
My works are shaped by experience, emotion and the beauty of nature. For me, colour is expression, memory and a way of making inner movement visible.
I am Gini, 35 years old, and I live near Hamburg with my partner and our four cats. I am a busy, emotional and slightly chaotic person who loves knitting, sewing and baking. My greatest love, though, is painting.
In 2021, during a personal period of change, I began expressing my feelings through painting and experienced that process as liberating from the very beginning. Over the years I have learned, experimented, developed my style and started sharing and selling my work.
My art is inspired by personal experiences and by the beauty of nature. Every colour stands for a different feeling and becomes a direct expression of who I am.
Gold
Gold is a recurring element in my painting. It creates contrast, brings light and depth into the images, and can appear calm, vivid or shimmering depending on the work.
Studio note
Painting began as a release for me and over time became a language of its own.
